I'm Jess. I am a counsellor who offers a calm, non-judgmental and compassionate space for people to talk through life's challenges. I specialise in grief, loss, anxiety and emotional overwhelm - areas I understand deeply through both personal and professional experience. I bring empathy and understanding to every session. Over the course of my life, I have experienced multiple varied challenges and struggles, including the heartbreak of losing my son, both of my parents and many other people who are special to me. I have struggled in the past with depression and anxiety. These profound losses and experiences have shaped not only who I am, but also why I became interested in this work. It is this lived experience that allows me to meet my clients with deep empathy, genuine understanding, and an unwavering commitment to creating a safe, healing space.

For a lot of people, seeing a counsellor face-to-face or by video can be incredibly overwhelming and anxiety-provoking. I provide virtual counselling (via email or a messaging app) to ensure the counselling process creates as little anxiety for you as possible.
